Bronze flanged gate valves are used extensively anywhere that requires on/off, multiturn flow control in a salt water environment. Osprey’s Figure 1004 upgrades the tradition bronze OS&Y gate by outfitting it with a nickel copper – aka Monel – stem, wedge, and seat.* This supercharges the wetted and seated parts corrosion resistance. In a world when sea water eats everything, the 1004 has the talons to fight back.
